We are thrilled to welcome the Centre for Conservation Science (CCS) as the newest partner of the Amphibian Survival Alliance (ASA)! Based in Australia, CCS is a leading research institution dedicated to advancing biodiversity conservation through cutting-edge science, collaboration, and translational research.

With a strong focus on amphibian conservation, CCS integrates robust field ecology with innovative technology to design and implement novel conservation actions. Their work spans a wide range of critical research areas, including population monitoring, habitat mitigation, and disease management, particularly in combating the amphibian chytrid fungus. CCS has made significant strides in developing conservation strategies for species such as the Green and golden bell frog (Litoria aurea) and the Northern heath frog (Litoria littlejohni), employing habitat restoration and captive breeding programs to enhance their survival prospects.

A key strength of CCS lies in its ability to bridge scientific research with practical conservation solutions, working closely with government and industry to ensure the best outcomes for amphibians. Their interdisciplinary approach and commitment to integrating First Nations knowledge, fostering future conservation leaders, and building global partnerships make them a valuable addition to our network.

We look forward to collaborating with CCS to further amphibian conservation efforts worldwide. Welcome to the ASA family!
